Yes. Creating a profile, browsing agencies, and connecting with recruiters is completely free for all veterans. There are no hidden costs or premium tiers for veteran users.

VET-TO-LEO is open to all military veterans, active duty service members preparing to transition, members of the National Guard and Reserves, and those participating in Transition Assistance Programs (TAP). Whether you separated recently or years ago, you're welcome to join.

After you create your profile with your military background, skills, and career preferences, law enforcement agencies in our network can browse and discover your profile. Recruiters reach out directly when they find a match. You can also browse open positions and agency listings on your own.

Yes. As a veteran, you're eligible for free resume assistance through VET-TO-LEO. We help you prepare for the application process and put your best foot forward. Once your resume is complete, we will even forward it to up to 3 law enforcement agencies of your choice.

Our partner agencies list a variety of positions, from patrol officers and deputies to specialized roles in investigations, K-9 units, SWAT teams, cybercrime, narcotics, community policing, and more. Many positions are ideal for veterans who bring military training and discipline.

Many law enforcement academies and criminal justice degree programs accept Post 9/11 G.I. Bill benefits and tuition assistance. Our platform includes listings from colleges and universities that offer public safety programs designed for veterans.

No. VET-TO-LEO is not a law enforcement agency or government entity. We are an independent employment initiative dedicated to connecting military veterans with law enforcement careers.

For Agencies

You can join as an agency through our registration page. Once approved, you'll have access to a dashboard where you can manage your agency profile, post job openings, assign recruiters, and browse veteran profiles.

Agency membership plans start at $598 per year, which includes a full agency profile, recruiter management, and veteran profile browsing. Individual job postings are available at $129 per year. Contact us for information about state-level featured partnerships.

Yes. Your agency dashboard allows you to add and manage multiple recruiters. Each recruiter gets their own profile visible to veterans in the network, allowing direct connections and outreach.

VET-TO-LEO offers Participating (basic listing), Member (full dashboard access and recruiter management), and State-Level Featured (premium visibility and state page placement) tiers. Each tier provides increasing visibility and features for your agency.
