About this position

Police Officer with the Town of Evansville, Wyoming, which borders Casper in Natrona County. Pay follows a ten-year step plan that starts at $29.53 an hour with no experience and tops out at $37.85 an hour ($81,900 a year) at six years. Laterals get one year of credit for every two years of service.

Officers work 12-hour shifts on a four on, four off, three on, three off rotation. The department handles about 400 to 600 calls a month, so officers see most cases from start to finish and can be selected for the Sheriff's Office SRT team.

The town pays 100% of employee health insurance and 100% of Wyoming state retirement. Officers who live within 25 miles get a take-home vehicle. Apply with the application linked on the recruitment page.
